Barrie specialises in delivering our Sales Executive Level 4 and is responsible for the tremendous achievement rates we are proud to boast of. With many successful years in business Barrie is a wealth of knowledge within the sales industry. I caught up with Barrie last week and here are just a few questions I asked him.
In a nutshell Barrie can you describe your role please
As a Learning and Development Coach for Mercuri Uk, my job is to support my apprentices through to their End Point Assessment for their Qualification and Diploma in Sales. As a result I meet lots of people and their managers of different ages in a whole range of sectors and work closely with them to achieve their goals.
What do you enjoy most within your role ?
It’s a great job and I particularly enjoy the constant interaction, seeing the apprentices succeeding with many light-bulb moments and great results. I get a real kick out of their success and am sure I get as much out of our partnership as they do.
Do you have a particular stand out moment or success ?
A particular success is supporting an apprentice who, while overcoming dyslexia and a long term chronic illness, has managed to finish the apprenticeship 6 months ahead of schedule! A wonderful result for someone who worked so hard to achieve it, and well merited.
