"Wednesday, May 17, is judgement day for the talented individuals and teams shortlisted for the Professional Sales Awards 2017, Britain’s first fully independent awards for the sales profession.

A glittering, black tie gala dinner and awards ceremony at the Connaught Hotel beckon in the evening, but before that the finalists have to clear the last hurdle: presentations in person to the expert judging panel in their event category."

Written presentations were submitted in mid-March, but on the afternoon of the awards each finalist will have to give a 10 to 15 minute pitch to the judges in person, explaining what they have done to deserve to win.

There are 43 people in the pool of judges, all with proven expertise in sales management. Each will judge several categories.

The category winners will be determined by who scores highest when the marks for the written and oral presentations are combined. At the end of the night the coveted Best Professional Sales Awards 2017 trophy will be awarded to the entry with the highest overall score.
